The even lift in Roslin Tower is currently out of operation.
Update 20/09/16 – the lift is fully operational.
Update 16/09/16 – the contractor has sourced a replacement part and has started work on the lift. We expect the lift to be back in operation on Tuesday, 20th September.
The contractor has advised that there is a major component failure which requires to be replaced, and is currently on order. Unfortunately, the contractor has advised that it is not possible to carry out a temporary repair at this time to keep the lift in operation just now.
The timescales provided by the contractor for manufacturing and delivery of the components required may take some days.
The contractor is doing everything possible to fast track the delivery of the component to speed up the repair, and we will keep you up to date with progress.
