We are delighted to announce that we have been successful at securing a defibrillator for the Whitlawburn area.
This life-saving piece of equipment was delivered to us following a successful application to the British Heart Foundation and is available for anyone in the community to use in an emergency – including those who are not tenants of WWHC. The device is registered on the National Defibrillator Network.
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. More information can be found on the British Heart Foundation’s website.
The British Heart Foundation offer additional support for those who wish to learn more about heart health and other resources including training. A short CPR training video can be found here.
