All members of the Co-operative are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting on the below date and time:
Monday 7th September 2026 at 7pm in Whitlawburn Community Resource Centre

If you can’t attend the meeting, please consider nominating a proxy, which means you can ask another person to attend and vote in your place. That person could be another member who attends the meeting, or it could be any one of the Management Committee members (excluding the Chairperson).
Please fill in the proxy form and return it to the Co-operative’s office at Belmont House, 57 Belmont Road by 5pm on Monday 31st August 2026.
Joining the Management Committee
If you feel you can contribute to the work of the Co-operative or want to nominate another member, please fill in the nomination form and return it to the Co-operative’s office at Belmont House, 57 Belmont Road by 5pm on Thursday 27th August 2026. Any nomination received after this date will not be accepted.

We need at least 30 members at the meeting, or represented by proxy, for a quorum for the meeting to go ahead.
If we do not have the quorum the meeting will be recalled on Monday 14th September 2026 at the same time and venue.
The functions of the Annual General Meeting are to:
- Present the Chairperson’s report on the Co-operative’s Activities for the previous year
- Present the auditor’s report and financial statements
- Appoint the auditor for the coming year
- Elect Committee Members; and
- Consider any other general business
The Co-operative’s auditor will be attending the meeting to present the audit report and financial statements.
We have extended an invitation to the local Councillors for the area to make a short report on their work over the past year and answer any questions that attendees may have. Police Scotland will also provide a statement on their work in the area.
